Lifeskills

This week in Lifeskills we have been learning about alcohol and keeping ourselves safe. If you would like to download a leaflet about the topic, please see the link below. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Cottrell at school.

In Lifeskills we have been learning about how to react in case of a knife or gun attack, using the Run, Hide, Tell procedure. If parents or carers would like to view the film which we watched or download the leaflet handed to students, please use this link: http://www.npcc.police.uk/CounterTerrorism/actforyouth.aspx

Before Christmas we also did a session about Prevent, which aims to keep young people safe from the threat of radicalisation and extremism. A leaflet about this will be handed out to parents and carers during the Parents’ meetings on 15th February.

You can also speak to Mrs Cottrell (Lifeskills co-ordinator) or Mrs Cooney if you would like any further information or have any questions about what has been covered.
